...Is so named because the Architecture in the front resembles a Triumphal Arch. This Structure with the four Pyramids and two Buffets of Water is composed of Gilt Metal curiously ornamented. The Pedastals & c. on which the basins on either side are fixt are white marble inlay'd with ornaments of Gilt metal. The elagance of design in forming this Charming Grove, its riches & the beautiful appearance of the crystal water rising in streams of falling in various cascades strike the beholders with pleasing astonishment. / ...L'Architecture Les 2 Buffets, et les 4 Pyramides, qui decorent le fond de ce magnifique Bosquet, Sont de metal dore perce a jour par de beaux ornements, d'ouleau tombe en nappa de Cristal Les Piedestaux Les Gradins des Bassins et les Goulettes sont de marbre sur la descent qui est en pente doucesont 2 bassins enplan incline, dont Leau tombe en cascade En bass sont 2 Juperbes Fontaines ornees et couronnees par 2 beaux trophies; Le taut de marbre enrichi d'ornements de metal dore. --- London, Printed for John Bowles at No.13 in Cornhill
