Lists numerous purchases made from January through December, 1812 of items relating to house decoration, including brushes, paints, oils, turpentine, linseed, etc. suggesting major refurbishment of his house totalling £125.11. Partial payment of £60 was received by Wainwright. No date recorded.

Sir J. G. Cotterell was M.P. for the County of Hereford and lived at Garnons Estate, Byford, Herefordshire. Early in his career, Humphrey Repton produced one of his 'red books' for Garnons.
