The first sheet bears an unidentified blind stamp at upper left. It's possible that the text is copied from a printed description, now lost. The descriptions provide straightforward accounts of each of the nine background scenes, e.g., for Scene 1: "A scene in the desert, camels watering in the background near two tombs. 1. The camel. This useful animal is invaluable to people who are obliged to make long journeys across the desert ..."
