The Garnkirk Works manufactures "fire brick of all descriptions, tessellated paving tile, patent kiln tile, gas retorts and crucibles of all sizes, ridge tiles, water pipes, an (excellent and cheap substitute for iron, being corrosive,) ornamental vases, after the antique, adapted for gardens or balconies, fancy chimney cans, etc."
