The added engraved title (or frontispiece) includes the title in Latin and German. Plates are numbered I-XXXXXVIIII, with 12 additional plates whose numbers are distinguished from those of the main sequence by 1-3 asterisks. Of the total of 71 prints, 36 are printed across facing leaves; plate [28], a bird's-eye view of modern Rome, is double sheet. Some plates signed by etchers Johann Azelt, Johann Franck, Johann Meyer, and Johann Jakob von Sandrart.
