Heinrich Steinhöwel's translation, originally published ca. 1476 by Günther Zainer.

Illustrations: 75 "Maiblumen" initials and 55 woodcuts (Schramm, II, 700-754) including one repeat. The illustrations were first used in Günther Zainer's German edition (Fairfax Murray 366), and are believed to have been cut in Ulm from designs by two different artists.

Woodcuts are hand-colored. From a collection of fifteenth- and sixteenth-century printed leaves compiled by Frederick Werther, with his enumeration stamped in ink.
