Notes:
The original Waterloo Bridge across the River Thames was designed by John Rennie and opened in 1817. The bridge included nine arches, constructed from granite. Due to structural failings, the bridge was demolished in the 1930s. In 1942 it was replaced by a new bridge on the same site.
