Text: "Begs respectfully to inform the nobility, gentry & public in general, that he has taken the above Inn & assures them that no excertion shall be wanting to merit their favour & patronage : choice wines of every description at reduced prices : also foreign and British spirits : excellent beds with every other accomodation : neat post chaise, good horses & careful drivers, with good lock-up coach houses : W. P. acquaints gentlemen who hunt in Hampshire, that he has every accomodation for hunters and the greatest attention will be paid to their forage & grooming : these stables are within three miles of the Hambledon hounds which afford excellent sport.BAC: MS inscription on verso in pen and ink: Sept. 30-1833 [Illegible] Job to Southampton.
