Dec. : whose knowledge in the anatomy, and figure of that noble animal the horse, is splendidly illustrated by the various subjects that present themselves from his incomparable pencil, in faithful portraits of almost all the celebrated racers, renowned on the turf, for half a century past : portraits of lions, tigers, elks, and other wild animals : capital historical subjects, splendid performances in enamel : a variety of drawings, sketches, and studies from nature : valuable printed engraved by Mr. Stubbs, Bartolozzi, &c. &c. : including six lots of Mr. Stubbs' engravings from various subjects, painted by himself : the whole of which will be sold by auction (by order of the executrix,) by Peter Coxe , on Tuesday, the 26th of May, 1807, and following day, at twelve o'clock.
