A catalogue of the renowned and valuable collection of Italian, Venetian, Flemish, and Dutch pictures : late the property of John Purling, Esq., deceased .: whose accurate judgment, pure taste and liberality in purchasing, rendered his Cabinet equal to most of the private galleries in Europe, and exhibits a magnificent assemblage of the works of Raphael, Correggio, Carracci, Guido, Domenichino, P. Da Cortona, Pamegiano, Titian, Tintoretto, S. Ricci, P. Veronese, C. Maratti, Claude, Poussin, Murillo, Cuyp, Rubens, Teniers, Wouvermans, P. Potter, Vanderwerff, Vandervelde, Berchem, Ferg, Zuccarelli,Wilson, &c. : including the beautiful picture La Vierge au Peloton, by Guido, well known to have occupied a most distinguished place in the Royal Collection of France : which will be sold by auction (by authority of the executors without the least reserve) by Mr. White, on the premises, no. 68 Portland Place on Monday, the 16th of February, 1801 and following day, at twelve o-clock : to be viewed till the sale, admission of each person by catalogues (only) which may be had at one shilling each at the place of Sale, and of Mr. White, Storey's Gate, Westminster.
