Imprint from publisher's advertisement on rear paste-down. The advertisement includes a list of the 33 albums available in Pumphrey & Day's "New albums of selected photographs."

BAC: British Art Center copy bound in publisher's original purple cloth. With label: "Waugh, stationer, Monmouth."

Twenty-five collotype prints depicting scenes along the River Wye. The prints are inserted into leaves of the album by way of slits at the corners. The album includes a view of the railway bridge at Severn, which was completed in 1879.
