Manuscript recipe book by an unidentified compiler. The recipes are written on the ruled pages of an exercise book, in green printed wrappers. The front cover features a wood-engraved illustration of Queen Victoria, "Empress of India" (Victoria was proclaimed Empress of India in 1877). Below the image are the words "Exercise book, Qual. B. Written by [blank]." In the blank, the compiler has written the words "19 Famous Recipes."
