Written in black ink, with headings in red.Manuscript recipe book by an unidentified compiler. The recipes are written on the ruled pages of an exercise book, in green printed wrappers. The front cover features a wood-engraved illustration of Queen Victoria, "Empress of India" (Victoria was proclaimed Empress of India in 1877). Below the image are the words "Exercise book, Qual. B. Written by [blank]." In the blank, the compiler has written the words "19 Famous Recipes."
