A book sculpture, by Dalibor Nesnídal, in the form of a small wooden cabinet of curiosities containing: Shakespeare's sonnets, in 10 volumes; a reproduction of the Chandos portrait of Shakespeare (NPG 1); a magnifying glass, positioned for viewing the portrait of Shakespeare; a music box playing Beethoven's Für Elise (WoO 59); a sculpture of a fish; a seashell; and a smooth white pebble.

The 10 volumes of Shakespeare sonnets were designed, published and bound in leather by Jan and Jarmila Sobota (2002). For a full description, see the link provided herewith.

The music box is operated by a wooden hand-crank that protrudes from the right-hand side of the cabinet.
