"This small book was inspired by memories of 'Roadkill' (a series of artist's books) made by Lucy May Schofield, a former artist-in-residence at Deuchar Mill. The Yarrow Valley is a stunningly beautiful forested rural area in the Scottish Borders, and home to an abundance of wildlife. This book stands as a memento mori for the many birds and creatures that met their end on the A708 (the road the runs the length of the valley)."--Description provided by the artist.
