All drawings are captioned in Dutch. English captions are provided on the facing page.

The drawings have been mounted to rectos of album leaves. Most measure 10 x 7 cm and are mounted two per page, with the exception of two larger drawings at the front (each 20 x 16 cm).

With the bookplate of the Marquess of Exeter, Burghley House.
