"In 1966 when the Gugenheim series was first shown in the Robert Fraser Gallery in London, Hamilton considered an edition of small-scale multiples, but found it too expensive to produce. However, four years later, 'xartcollection' came along with a proposal to produce a vesion of the Guggenheim relief, in a run of 750 unsigned multiples to be sold in furniture stores. ...
