Volume 1 bound in red cloth; vol. 2 in gray paper wrappers; vol. 3 bound in blue cloth; vol. 4 in beige paper wrappers (and inscribed "Odd lots").Pattern books for printed material produced by Marcus Ward and Co., of Belfast, circa 1885-1890. The volumes include 160 separate items, neatly mounted. Items include menu cards, programme cards, marriage cards, blank cards, cards with various decorative designs, engagement cards, dance cards, and mourning envelopes. Almost all items are printed in multiples colors, in chromolithography. Volume 1 includes material with designs by Kate Greenaway.
