The traveler's itinerary includes Dusseldorf, Bonn, Frankfort, Falda, Leipzig, Berlin, Dresden, Prague, Vienna, Zurich, Bern, Lausanne, Geneva, and Paris. Example activites of the diarist include an organ recital in Harlem, a bath in the Rhine, the opera in Frankfort, and galleries in Potsam, Berlin, Sans Souci, and Dresden.
