Caption title.The primary sheet has mounted to it a volvelle comprised of three superimposed discs. The bottom disc bears a color wheel (full spectrum). The two discs above it may be turned so that their windows expose advantageous combinations of color, in one of four types: harmonie ton sur ton, harmonie de nuances, contraste teintes vives, and contraste teintes claires. On the reverse of this same sheet are examples of designs incorporating such complementary combinations.The other sheet bears an introduction and instructions for use of the Harmonicolor.
