BAC: British Art Center copy with four-piece woodcut border on leaf a2r. Bound in 18th-century calf, rebacked. Imperfect: lacks leaves E8, L1, L8 (blank) and O6 (blank). A duplicate of H3 and H6 are bound in place of L1 and L8, the signing of H3 looking like an 'L' because of poor inking. K7 has the reading "s'm" instead of "secūdū" (see Duff). Armorial bookplates of Richard Towneley of Towneley (1702), Lord Amherst of Hackney, and C.W. Dyson Perrins. Also at front is the ownership inscription of Falconer Madan, bibliographer of early Oxford books, stating that he purchased the book at the Towneley sale (June 1883). A bibliographical note by Madan is tipped in and his stamp occurs on the verso of leaf 2. The copy was sold in the Amherst sale of 24 March 1909 and the Dyson Perrins sale of 9 June 1947. From Sir Arthur Howard.
