The verso of the mount bears a printed label on green paper, with two coin logos: "Photographers to the Crystal Palace Company. H. Negretti & Zambra. Meteorological instrument makers, and opticians, no. 11, Hatton Garden, London." The firm was appointed as Photographers to the Crystal Palace Company in 1854.
