Each drawing is initialed "A.M." and dated from 1867 to 1869. Most of the drawings are humorous in tone, commenting on current fashions. There are also several portraits. The artist has inscribed the volume "Anna Mountlove [?], October 1867"; the spelling of the surname is difficult to decipher.
