The Plates will be engraved | in a highly-finished style of Line Engraving, from Drawings by | J. M. W. TURNER, R.A. chiefly in the possession of Mr. FULLER. | It will contain FOURTEEN Engravings of the most choice Landscape and Marine Scenery in the RAPE of HASTINGS, displaying with | Truth and Effect the grand Character of this picturesque part of the | Coast. | It was originally proposed to publish this splendid Work in THREE | Parts, at L.3 each --As several of the Plates are however in great for- | wardness, and many of the Suscribers have expressed a wish to have the | work in a complete state as early as possible, the Proprietor now announces | his intention of completing it in TWO-- by which new arrangement the | Subscribers will not only be enabled to perfect their Copies much earlier | than they would have been if published in Three Parts, but they will be | enabled to do so at L.7 : 10, instead of L.9. and the Proof Copies in | proportion."; lettered, lower right: "[TURN OVER."
