Lettered, center left along image: "Angelica Kauffman pinx.t"; center right along image: "Tho.s Burke Fecit."; lower center: "Cupid and Cephisa"; text is then divided into two paragraphs side by size, divided by a vertical black line, on the left the text is in French and on the right in English: " *Cephis says, we ought to cut the Wings of Love | that there may be no more inconstant men upon the | Earth, Stop Cephisa!
