Lettered inside image in pen and black ink, center right: "In a Vault | On the South side of the Church Yard | lieth the Body of the late Reverend | Thomas Moore DD | Fifty years Rector of this Church | He was collated to it July 25th 1719 | And rebuilt the Parsonage House | in the year 1735. | He was also appointed Minister | of St. Botolph's without Aldersgate | in London, May 7th 1722 | He was a conscientious and | Virtuous Christian, | An able and faithful Clergyman | A tender and affectionate Relation | And a just and upright Man | He was born Septr. 9th 1689. | And died July 19th 1769."; center right: "In the same Grave | And in the same Hope | of a blessed Eternity | Rest also the Remains of his Wife | Elizabeth | with whom he lived thirty five Years, | In the most entire concurrence | of Sentiment and Affection. | She was | In her general conduct irreproachable | In many parts of it, exemplary: | In conjugal and parental Regards | Invaluable. | She departed this Life Novr. 23rd. 1776 | In the 65th Year of her Age. | Having just two months survived | Her eldest Daughter Elizabeth. | Her inseparable Companion and a constant Imitator | of her Virtues | who died Septr. 22nd. 1776. Aged 39. | And lies buried in the same Vault | with her Parents."
