This is one of a pair of drawings for pavilions within a park (B1975.2.38). The perspective shows a building with a pyramidal roof between hipped end bays and behind an advanced porticoed center. The pavilion sits on the top of a hill, overlooking a landscape with clumps of trees and livestock. The drawing is probably one of William Kent's fanciful sketches, not intended for use as a design proposal. The groupings of animals and the loose handling in the trees are recognizably Kent’s work.
