18 etched copper plates used in the printing of W.H. Pyne's Etchings of rustic figures. London: R. Ackermann, 1815. (Abbey, J.R. Life 179). Included are plates 1-9, 11, 13, 15-20, and 41. All plates bear the same imprint as the printed leaves in the 1815 work. Plates are variously dated from April 1 to July 1, 1814. According to Abbey, a number of these plates were first published in Ackermann's Repository of Arts, Oct. 1812-Aug. 1814. The back of each plate is etched: I. Shafe, 24 Littlemoorfields, London.
