This Latin edition differs considerably from the German editions of 1553 and 1564. The description of America, p.1099-1113, is quite different, more ample, and embraces the voyages of Vespuccius, Magallanes, etc. The woodcuts of this part also vary. The maps are the same. Cf. Müller, "Cat. of books ... on America ... 1872."
