"The victory of Vittoria was achieved by the superior skill of the most noble Marquis of Wellington, over the concentrated French armies, commanded by Joseph Bonaparte, and Marshal Jourdan, his Major-General, on the 21st of June 1813 : and that of the Pyrenees, over the army commanded by Marshal Soult, the lieutenant of Bonaparte, who vauntingly, but vainly, proclaimed the order of his master, that the veterans of France should celebrate his birth-day on the plains of Zadora and Vittoria : this signal defeat took place on the 28th of July, 1813."--Page [1], title continued.
"The pictures are painted by Mr. J.M. Wright, from the most authentic information. Conditions. The size of the prints will be 27 inches by 19 ditto, to be etched by Mr. Moses, and aqua-tinted by Mr. F.C. Lewis."--Page [2].
