Consists of the original sheets of the author's "History of Cornwall," published in 3 vol., 1803, to which are added 4 works of the same author in their original editions (with separate t.-ps.), with some added material. New t.-ps. bearing date 1816 are prefixed to all the volumes of this edition--Cf. Brit. Mus. Catalogue.

First issued in parts between 1803 and 1808 from the presses of Flindell of Falmouth, Trewman of Exeter and Tregoning of Truro, England. Enlarged and reissued with new titles in 1816 as above, the publisher being changed from Cadell and Davies to Law and Whittaker. Cf. Abbey.

BAC: British Art Center copy is the Abbey copy. Bound in gilt-tooled dark blue morocco. Bookplate: Leybourne Grance. This copy has the 2 plates in v. 1. that are often missing: Padstow from the Harbour and St. Michaels Mount. Temporary titles and a leaf of dedication were issued while the work was appearing in parts, and cancelled when it was complete, new titles then printed. This copy has the cancelled titles to v. 4-7, in addition to the new ones.
