Leaf [v] (197 x 131 mm.) was purchased by Maggs Bros. at the Sotheby sale of 20 May 1947 (the property of Boies Penrose). Leaf ii (260 x 185 mm.) was purchased at the Sotheby sale of 24 June 1947. From Sir Arthur Howard. In the early 19th century, the fragment was owned by N.O. Pettigrew, whose presentation inscription to C.
