A "pirated" edition of the Nuremberg chronicle issued by Johann Schönsperger. "It had 2,165 illustrations [by Wolgemut, Pleydenwurff, and Dürer] copied from the Nuremberg blocks and re-cut in smaller size. In none of his colophons did Schönsperger mention the name of the author [Schedel] or the translator [George Alt]" -- Wilson, Adrian. The making of the Nuremberg chronicle, 1976, p. 191; pp. 193ff.
