Dedications of parts 1-3 dated 1625, 1626, and 1627, respectively. Part 3 dated 1630 on title page.
Signatures: part 1: A-P⁴ Q² (P3 signed P5); part 2: A-R⁴; part 3: a-1⁴; part 4: Aa-vu⁴.
BAC N7420 .S26f+: Imperfect: comprises 198 illustrations only (including illustrated title pages of parts 1, 2, and 4), and the letterpress title page of part 3. The illustrations have been cut out (inclusive of titles above each image) and pasted to the larger leaves of the volume (two on each recto). Bound with: P. Ovidii Nasonis Metamorphosis, oder, Sinn-reicher Gedichte von Verwandlungen (Nürnberg : Zu finden bey des Verlegers seel. Erben, 1698). The volume bound in later red leather, stamped in gold on front covers with armorial of Mark Masterman Sykes, baronet, of Sledmere, beneath the initials S.M.M. Armorial bookplates: John, Duke of Bedford; "Du cabinet de [blank]".
