- The box manufacturer is unidentified. Some of the paint blocks are by Roberson and Co. Mixing trays in the drawer are stamped Reeves & Woodyer.
Restricted fragile material. Use requires permission of the Curator of Rare Books and Manuscripts.
The box includes original brass hinges and lock. The interior is divided into three main sections. The top section includes 24 slots for paint blocks. The 21 blocks present are from varied manufacturers.
The middle row includes two mixing trays: one in marble, one in ceramic or porcelain.
Includes fragments of an ink stick.
