Title and manufacture from accompanying leaflet.
"A quarter slice of an apple. The apple model is made as a very small book. It is bound in a variety of leathers, mostly goat skins, with the slice "cut" is made in white pig. The seed is gilt gold. Inside is the miniature book with eleven pages and with some sayings about apples. The lid is held with magnets"--Artist's leaflet.
Exterior of the apple quarter has a blue morocco oval label in the style of a fruit label with "apple" tooled in gilt. "20GK15" tooled in black.
Issued in a box lined with green shredded paper, green morocco leaf and green ribbon. Box covered in marbled paper with black morocco oval label gilt tooled with "apple."
