There is a medal in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art (08.53.11) that commemorates the same event of the opening of the Blackfriars Bridge and the Holborn Viaduct by Her Majesty Queen Victoria on November 6, 1869. The medal is attributed to the medalist George Gammon Adams. There are notable differences in design between the medal and this drawing.
