Title and date from the bottom of the jug.
This jug is decorated in green, brown, and gold with a printed black wreath. The body features a scene of wounded soldiers on a battlefield and a scene of a grieving mother and her children with an angel carrying a banner that reads "Royal Patriotic Fund" above them. The decorative handle is in the form of a lion's head with a long scrolled stem, decorated in green and gold. - Subject Terms:
