Souvenir produced for the luncheon of the Three Arts Women's Employment Fund held at Grosvenor House on July 25, 1916. The fund was created to provide work for artists unemployed as a consequence of war and was sufficiently worthy to attract attendance by Queen Alexandra that day.
With lighthearted illustrations and verse (in most cases, both) describing contemporary British notables, including a number of actors. The first two illustrations are signed by Burne-Jones; the rest by Hassall. The verse is apparently by Burne-Jones. - Subject Terms:
