"A collaboration between Ama Bolton and Pauline Lamont-Fisher."--Colophon.
"This book tells the story of a garment made for a baby but which ended up being worn by a teddy bear. The work is the result of a chance conversation between the artist and the poet, Ama Bolton, which is retold in the first section of the dos à dos. The story unfolds in a sonnet and the result is illustrated in the reverse section. The images are printed digitally and the text is letterpress. The images were either found in my library or taken using found material to meet the requirement for found image. The Fattori etching was one I had photographed in an exhibition at the British Museum and is reproduced with permission. The jumper was made in the primary colours of red, blue and yellow, which coincidentally were specified by the ideation cards. The only images printed in colour are representing the stripes and the teddy.
