- "Signed limited edition of forty books ... There are also ten unboxed sets with slight blemishes on the paper or letterpress printing used as samples marked H.C. The text was set in Optima by Kathrin Jacobsen for plate making at Lyme Bay Press, Rayne, Essex and printed letterpress by Joanna Mersey at Bignor Press, Sussex onto hand made paper by Khadi, Chilgrove, Sussex. The embossing was done in his studio by the artist with the help of his son Joel and his daughter Jessica at the Circle Press, Bosham, near Chichester, West Sussex."--Colophon.

"The book retells the story of the young woman Sedna, tricked by a mysterious lover, then betrayed by her father and ultimately magically transformed into a sea goddess who is central to Inuit belief. Walrus, whale and seal are created for the first time in the enchantment of Sedna's transformation ... Made up of seven unbound french-fold sections 28 x 29 cm with ten single page images and five double page spreads, the letterpress text is intentionally light in tone with little impression from the soaking of the stock for the blind relief process, lending itself to the mood of the narrative. The embossing, from wire and shaped board, has been pressed into Khadi hand made paper from India.
