A catalogue of the capital, truly valuable and interesting collection of drawings, designs, prints, books of prints, &c. &c. of that distinguished artist and civil engineer, the Athenian Reveley, Dec. : consisting of his well-known topographical views and drawings of the celebrated remains of antiquity, which were accurately measured and delineated by him during a journey through Italy, Egypt, and Greece, in the years 1785-1786 : the whole accompanied with numerous remarks in MS by himself, which render them highly curious and valuable to the lover of the arts and classic antiquity : also, elegant collection of architectural designs and plans, including those for the public baths, in the city of Bath : rare drawings by the late George Barret and others : architectural casts taken from the antique, at a great expence, book of architecture prints and antiquities : a reflecting telescope by Nairne and Blunt, with specula by Watson : hydraulic and other models : a violin and violoncello : and a watch by Ellicot : which will be sold by auction, by Mr. Christie, at his Great Room, (No. 118, late the Royal Academy) in Pall Mall, on Monday, May 11, 1801, and following day, at twelve o'clock : may be viewed on Friday and Saturday preceding the sale, when catalogues may be had : and the plaster casts to be viewed (with tickets) at Dr. Willich's, Litton Street, Litton Green, Paddington.
