"To construct the images were a fun way to extend the medium of print / etching-indeed etching plays an important part in the history of the decoration of armour. (The design used here is from a 16th cent. German breast plate in the Victoria & Albert Museum). I have always been fond of museums and would often find inspiration for works amongst things from the past. The titles for the 4 images were important."--Information provided by the artist.
