BAC Leaf Collection no. 0023: Imperfect: comprises three cuttings (each approximately 7 x 6 cm), each with a large ornamental initial of burnished gold on a background of white vine work, with additional coloring in red, green, and blue. From a collection of fifteenth- and sixteenth-century printed leaves compiled by Frederick Werther, with his enumeration stamped in ink.
