Printed notice, subsequently framed by its collector, Paul Mellon. On the reverse of the frame, Mellon has noted: "A thumb-tacked notice, lifted from the Senate House of Cambridge University the day I received my degree, in June 1931. Paul Mellon."
The reverse of the frame bears the printed label of Rossiter's Art Shop, 10, Rose Crescent, Cambridge.
