"I made the first drawings here in 1978, the most recent a few months ago. All are of man-made objects, mostly mass-produced, immediately familiar in the contemporary world. ... My drawings are accurately detailed but provide very limited information. They do not show the object's use, size, materials, colour, commercial value, context, or what it looks like seen from a different point of view. It is the extraordinary capacity of every individual viewer to fill in this extensive and complex information through memory and imagination effortlessly without even realizing it. ... Michael Craig-Martin (December 2014)."--Leaf [3].
