- Artist's book. Page [1] bears the word "as" twice. Pages [2]-[19] repeat a small image depicting a flood; presumably, the image (a woodcut) is reproduced from an early printed work. Above and below the image are partial words (4 letters each), which collectively state: (along the top) "as words were written they appear as an alphabetical index at the end of the manuscript"; (and along the bottom) "as words were read they disappeared from the page the book becoming progressively blank."
