Three billheads of Elliston & Cavell, Oxford clothier, recording purchases made by Mrs. Risley of the Warneford Asylum in 1909, 1910, and 1911. The first (a), in Nov. 1909, records the purchase of 2 bodices and 3 hose, totalling £18/0/0. Dated at top Christmas, 190[9]. Invoice no.: [494]. Receipt of payment affixed to invoice, dated Jany. 10, 1910. The second billhead (b), from June 1910), records the purchase of 13 buttons, silk brocade, 6 black dresses, 4 lining, 33 flannelette, and 1 3/4 lining totalling, £1/15/16. Invoice no.: [495]. Receipt of payment affixed to invoice, dated July 4, 1910. The third billhead (c), from May and June, 1911, records the purchase of 2 1/2 yards of damask, H.S. cloth, 1 silk broche, 6 black dresses, 4 lining and 2 1/2 yards of flannelette, totalling £2/2/9 with a discount and final total £2/1/8. Dated at top: Midsummer. Invoice no.: [498]. Receipt of payment affixed to invoice, dated July 7, 1911.
