The album is titled on a preliminary leaf (and on spine): "Lotteries 1569-1826." It comprises a collection 139 original engravings, broad sheets, lottery puffs, announcements, etc. relating to the history of English lotteries, interlaced with the historical account given by William Hone in his "Every-Day Book." The various material was assembled and bound together in 1908 for Alexander Meyrick Broadley.
