Bound in full gilt-tooled brown morocco, with gilt edges.
The compiler is unidentified. On most leaves, the album integrates monograms (and some diecuts) into a framework of watercolors and/or penwork. The sketches range from caricature and humor to picturesque landscape. Monograms include those of the Royal Family, including Queen Victoria, and much of the upper English aristocracy. Also present is a logo for the Confederate States of America.
