Includes over 40 examples of cut-paper work, including friezes and figures (one movable), loosely inserted in the volume. A folding 'fashion' engraving dated 1794 has been mounted onto one of the first leaves; it is possibly from Joseph Johnson's Ladies new and polite pocket memorandum book for the year 1794.
Bound in leather, with leaves of thick sugar paper. Each inner cover of the binding also forms a pocket. Remnants of the original silk tie remain.
